Flight was good, though it was almost an hour late leaving Vancouver. Packed flight but no screaming kids so that was a bonus. Then we stood in line for almost an hour at the car rental place. Seemed to be unorganized confusion. People in line to get their rental cars but no ID so they had to go find their significant other to give them their documents. I mean really...get on the program people!
The weather here has been unseasonably cold - low to high 60’s - it would normally be 80! The locals say it’s been lousy weather for the last 3 months....worst weather in 15 years. Actually a little too cool for the pool, with a strong cold wind.
We had planned to golf on the Tuesday and Thursday after we arrived. The cool weather is perfect for golf as long as it doesn’t rain. My back was all seized up so we had to wait til Saturday. We had a lovely day. We golfed with 2 gentlemen from the Vancouver area. Nice guys and a lovely afternoon.s
