Baby it's hot outside

Weather here on the coast has been very hot for the past couple of days.  Today it was 93 degrees and very hot and humid! Because of the front that has moved in, the lower mainland of BC has been feeling the effects of the wildfires in the interior.   It has been very smoggy and will continue to be that way as long as the weather is hot.  What we need is a really good downpour of rain to clear the air and help put the fires out.

Update on my challenges:

ATCAD June 2017 - completed.  Picture follows.

ICAD for 2017 -  I completed approximately 30 - so basically the month of June only.  While I didn't complete the challenge, I did make more ICADs this time around so this challenge was pretty good for me.  Will try to do better next year.

JAD - this was an epic fail.  As I mentioned in a previous post,   I hated the paper in the journal I chose.  After working in it for awhile, I just decided that I didn't like the results.  I tend to use a lot of wet media in my journals and when I finished a page it looked like someone had thrown it out in the rain and allowed traffic to run over it repeatedly.  I eventually found a sketchbook with better paper so have started the journal August 1st and hope to complete some quick pages on a regular basis.

That's all I've got for now.

Caio!
