Whaz up?

Just back from a few days down south of the border in Ferndale WA with a friend.  Spent a couple of days at the Silver Reef Casino - no affiliation.  We really like staying there - spotlessly clean, friendly staff and delicous food.  I managed to make a little money  - very unusual for me!  I promptly used it for shopping, don't you love it when a plan comes together?  Even with the difference in the dollar I always manage to score several bargoons.  The selection and quality are outstanding!

No arting done this week at all as I was otherwise occupied.  Today I'm playing catch-up - restoring a little order to my art studio chaos and making some more cards and mail art for a couple of swaps I'm in.

The interior of BC is ablaze with several hundred forest fires.  Luckily none of this affects my family as we live on the coast.  However, hundreds of people have been evacuated and far too many of them have lost their homes and everything they own to the fire.

Please send good thoughts and prayers for all those affected.
