I'm finishing up my ATCAD June 2017 challenge. Fell behind a few days but plan to be caught up within a day or so and will post accordingly.
Same applies to ICAD 2017 however, I'm almost there and will post accordingly.
My JPAD (Journal Page A Day) experiment is a dismal failure. I kept dithering about with journal to use, as mentioned in the previous post. I finally chose one because I liked the look of it from the outside, but hated the thinness of the paper inside. I tried to work in it for several days, I really did, but at the end of that time it was such a mess that I couldn't continue. It just looked like garbage....so back to the drawing board! I went through my stash and found a couple of sketch books that I had purchsed at Michaels forever ago. This journal is a little, which I like, with a little heavier paper, which I also like. So long story short, I'm starting over again as of the first of July. I think this will work better. I am however, having a hard time sticking to the 10 minute time limit. - I always seem to make things more complicated than they need to be ;)
I'm also in the process of another destash.. I ran into a neighbour who has few lady friends and assorted groups that run art programs ( ie teen mothers, local penetentiary). She says that they're always scrounging for stamps, paper, paints etc to use in their programs so I'm very happy to share my treasures with them. I don\t really care where they go or who uses them as long as they don't end up in the landfill! I have tried and will continue to try to sell some stuff either through facebook or etsy, however, postage here in Canada can be very expensive so it often ends up being more trouble than it's worth by the time I charge for postage. Anyway that's the plan.
