January challenge completed

I did it!  I completed my January tag challenge.  It was fun;  I found it very freeing to just make stuff for the sake of making it.  No rules, no expectations.  And I even surprised myself with some of the art I came up with.   I have no idea where some of these ideas originated.  I will be away for the next several weeks so I'm not able to do the challenge again until April, however,  I think I will do it again.

The last several weeks have been very busy.  I've been working on tags, backgrounds, ATCs and cards.  I'm also still working on organizing...long, slow process but I am making progress!

We're heading off to southern California on Wednesday and I am soooooo looking forward to it.  I need some serious pool time and some time on the golf course.  A little retail therapy at Tuesday Morning is also anticipated as I only get there a couple of times a year.  The US has such a fabulous selection of mixed media supplies that I think I will need to give myself permission to indulge myself a little.

I'm taking some art supplies with me so that I can art when I can't sleep.   I usually take way too much, however, I have put some thought into what I will take and have - hopefully - pared down to the bare minimum.

I don't think I can post to my blog from my ipad so will probably not be uploading anything while I'm gone.  Will update when I return.
