Getting back into the swing of things

We've been home for a couple of weeks now and I'm finally getting back into the swing of things.  We had a wonderful trip and we're looking forward to going back in September for a couple of week.

I've been working in my journal since I came home but I must admit it has been a bit of a struggle to get anything that pleases me. I will keep plugging along.  I know that practice is the only thing that will help me break through this block.

While away, I worked in a small sketch book that I purchased at Michaels in PS.  It has grid paper in it which I found quite helpful to assist me to get things lined up where they should be.  I have not completed the journal yet but will post pictures below over the next little while to show my progress. I've also been working on ICADs and will be doing some ATC's in an attempt to rid myself of some of scraps.   I want to post a short flip through on YouTube however, I seem to have lost a key part to my tripod - probably buried under my junk somewhere in my studio!  This constant looking for things - and frequently not finding them when I need them - really gets on my very last nerve!  I guess I'm just a very slow learner.
