I haven't done a lot of journalling or ICADs, which BTW, I am way behind on. The challenge closed on July 31st and posting will close on August 15th. I still have a few ICADs to post and will do that ASAP. I was going to try to catchup but it just got to be too much for me so I kind of threw in the towel. Then I saw a video from another artist - big shout-out to CatHand - and she's in the same boat but says regardless she is going to finish what she started. That thought had never even occurred to me! :) So I will be jumping on that band wagon and I'll keep creating ICADs until I finish the 61 little works of art and will post to the blog during the process, regardless of how long it takes me,
Journalling has taken a back seat of late. I was busy making Anniversary cards for the store so that took my time away from the journal. I have more Anniversary cards to make this week and then I'll be moving on to Christmas cards for the store's open house at the end of October. I really, really enjoy making Christmas cards so I'm looking forward to that process.
On the studio homefront, I'm still, yes still, trying to get myself organized!!! I'm embarassed to admit how much "stuff" I have. It's really quite disturbing. I gave away 2 good sized boxes of stamping magazines and stamps to another stamper in my area. She belongs to a stamping group so she will share with her friends. I'm glad to see that they are going to someone who will "love" them the way I do!
And so the massive purge continues. Even though my studio does not look all that different, I know I'm making progress, very slow progress, I will grant you but progress, notheless! This process is ongoing and is challenging for me. I tend to get distracted by the bright shiny objects. And to borrow a Trumpism, "lots of people tell me" that very bright people have very low boredom threasholds and are easily distracted. Just saying.....
I will be destashing lots of wood mounted and clear stamps and supplies for good prices so stay tuned. Not exactly sure which forum I will use....need to think about that for awhile.
Well must run. Pix of projects to follow soon.
