Artful journey - "I Have more than Enough!"

The plan is that I will do some vlogging and film and upload some process videos.  Fair warning, though .  I know nada about video editing or quality so the first few videos may be a little less than perfect.  However, I'm not going to let that deter me   I want to jump nto this journey feet first so it might get a little scary at times !  :)

My first project was to create a hand bound 6" X 6" 140 # watercolour journal.  I've made several journals before and bound them with the bind it all, but never actually stitched the signatures and bound them.  It was an adventure and while it is less than perfect, I absolutely love it.

I chose that size - it has 32 pages total - because I wanted a format that I could complete fairly quickly so I could see some progress.  I think this size fits the bill perfectly.  I'm currently working in several other journals, all different sizes, however, I plan to make this little gem my go-to for the foreseeable future.

I couldn't seem to get it to come together at first but I persevered..  I used acrylic paints, posca ink pens, stencils and markers to bring it all together and I'm fairly happy with it.
