Home again, home again

Back from Palm Springs where the weather was hot and fabulous.  It was over 115 degrees a couple of days and then the remainder of the trip was somewhere between 100 and 110 degrees.  Had it not been for the air conditioner and the pool it would have been unbearable....since we had those things it was paradise.

The trip was very relaxing.  I did a little bit of craft shopping a couple of days, but really it was rather disappointing.  The only Tuesday Morning close to where I was staying had a tiny craft section so not much selection to choose from.  I didn't shop for clothes or anything like that.....my main purpose daily was to enjoy the pool and relax.

I took way too many craft supplies with me....way too many.... however I did manage to get several pages done in a new, smaller journal. I picked up a couple of these journals at Michaels the last time we were down and I really like them so I picked up 4 more.  At 2 for $5 you can't go wrong.  I think they have pages in them and the paper is quite decent so I was happy to score a few more this trip.
