Summer is over

Summer here on the coast is suddenly over.  We went from a drought with extremely hot weather to cool, rainy weather overnight.  We did, however, so
need the rain!

The last 6 weeks have been very busy.  When the weather permitted, I did a lot of art.  I made about 25 cards to donate, 8 for swaps, and another 8 due before I leave for California in a couple of days.

I fell behind on my ICADS - I was away for a couple of days and suffering with the weather the rest of the time.  I plan to complete the challenge though, albeit a little late, so I'm plugging along.

I played in the Summer Mailart swap over on Blissfully Art Journalling.  I made 17 tags to send out.  It was time consuming but lots of fun.  I always look forward to this time of year because of this particular swap.

I've also been working in my journal - not as much as I should -  I know I spend way too much time watching YouTube. I now also have an Instagram account -  sandraproulx1500.  I'd love if you checked it out.

Ok, so getting ready to go to California for a couple of weeks.  We can't take our fur-babies with us so we have a friend staying here at the house to take care of them.  I don't know what we would do without her!

Here's some of what I've been doing.

I sketched this with a graphite pencil on a piece of mop up paper.  I would like to go over it with ink but I'm afraid that I'll mess it up!

And a couple of birthday cards.
