While updating the blog, I'm busy uploading a flip video to YouTube. I'm the first one to admit that I don't know much about videos but I am trying to learn. It's hard to put up content when one doesn't really know what one is doing.....LOL. I guess you just have to fake it til you make it! So I'm putting up some short videos - somewhere around 5 minutes or so - to try to build up some skills. The two that will be up within 24 hours are an ATC flip and ICAD flip, both the first 7 days of the challenge. The plan is to upload each weeks cards in a video which I'll post at the beginning of the week following. I'm sure that I just need to build up some confidence and my skills will improve.
I've also been working in my JPAD (journal page a day). Just by virtue of the volume I'm trying to complete, the journal pages are fairly simple. I must admit though that I have a hard time keeping the journal time to just 10 minutes. It's usually twice that so I guess that I need to simplify the process even more in order to meet those time constraints.
The journal I picked for my JPAD is not ideal. The paper is very flimsy, which I knew, but I was too impatient to make a new one so now I pay the price with dissatisfaction. Oh, well, live and learn. Anyway I will switch to a different journal and find a new use for this one that I don't like. Should have just taken the time to either make one or find one I liked in the first place but I didn't so there you have it!
