Only 2 more weeks and we're off to Palm Springs for 18 days. I soooo need this trip and both my daughter and I are really looking forward to it! I know it will be as hot as the bejeezus down there at that time of the year - I don't care. I need the sun to top up my batteries and I plan to accomplish that by floating in the pool and drinking margaritas! My daughter does not do well in the sun, however the house is air conditioned, so she can stay indoors and remain cool just as she does any other time we visit there. She doesn't use the pool much, although she may this time due to the heat, but she loves the spa so we're all set to go. Something for everyone. We would normally golf, however have agreed that we will pass on the golf because it will just be too hot and you can't really enjoy the round when all you can think about is how blessed hot it is!!!
On the art front, I'm working on a second batch of anniversary cards and birthday cards for the store. I must, I repeat, I must deliver them tomorrow so I can work on the Christmas cards for the Open House in October. The store owner wants the cards by the end of September so since I won't be here then, I have to have finished product delivered by Sept. 14th. Soooo....I'm going to have a busy couple of weeks before I go.
I've been working on some journalling, although nothing that I want to post at this point. I have a couple of more ICADs....enjoy
